Informational Booths
Our organization sets up informational booths at local community events, such as fairs or festivals, to raise awareness about our cause. We educate the public about the animals we help and how they can get involved in supporting our mission.
Volunteers from our organization conduct the activity. Volunteers donate their time to staff the booths, distribute brochures, and engage with attendees to inform them about our work. These informational booths are typically set up at local fairs, festivals, or community gatherings that allow nonprofit organizations to participate. Approximately 50 percent of volunteer time is dedicated to this activity, as setting up, staffing, and taking down the booth requires a significant amount of coordination and volunteer involvement. As these event are the most cost effective to run.
This activity is funded through in-kind donations, such as booth materials, banners, and printed brochures. The cost of materials for the booth and transportation is minimal and covered by individual donations or small grants.
The booths raise awareness about our cause and educate the public on how they can contribute, either by donating or volunteering. By spreading the word about the animals we help, this activity directly advances our mission and brings in new supporters and potential donors, which helps our cause.
